This place explains what Dragon Ball is all about. Dragon Ball is the first out of 3 series and takes place when everybody was young. It starts out with a young girl named Bulma Briefs who is searching for the 7 magical Dragon Balls that have the power to grant wishes. She runs into a young wild boy named Son Goku and finds out he has a dragon ball, given to him by his grandfather who died. They decide to go on an epic adventure. In Dragon Ball, Goku takes on the evil Emperor Pilaf, stops the tactics for the Red Ribbon Army, and go's on face to face with the freaky evil Piccolo Damiou. Dragon Ball isn't the best series of them all, and is actually not the best, (out of 1-10, 10 being the best it would have to be a 6) because it's not for every person of age group. This doesn't have bloody violence and scary anime, but does have enough action and adventure to suit anybody. I do recommend watching Dragon Ball if you are getting into the whole Dragon Ball (Z/GT) thing, and i also do recommend it for anybody who just likes funny stuff and cool action.
